HUMOR POETRY...MISS NOMER

MISS NOMER

Our home-spun Homer
Is having quite an odyssey
Since he married miss Nomer !

He was quite a roamer
(Now is chained to his house)
Can be truly called a ‘homer’

Nomer, as is her habit
Is mostly off the mark
But is always right on target
(With a nail and a hammer)
When it comes to poor Homer !

Homer needs a respite, freedom from this Nomer
But he is so utterly confused, there is no way to leave her

He longs to be a loner, but is simply a goner
And wedlock as a word, for him is no misnomer !!!

HUMOR POETRY....MISS TAKE

MISS TAKE

His only mistake was to marry miss Take
While he was a believer in giving and living
Take had only one passion : to take and to take !

One day in September, from her slumber did she wake
And announced she was hurting, she had a tooth ache
He suggested a dentist but Take asked for a chocolate cake !

Come on, let us pray, for this poor soul, for heaven’s sake !
Who married this Take ; his malady he cannot shake !

(Take too is not happy, cold shoulders she can’t take
But he listens to her stories, only for peace’s sake )

Now Take wants to become a mother
But he cannot afford this mistake :

Once was quite a heart ache
He does not want a retake !!!
